Americas Linkage is a unique program that facilitates business ties between Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean through a series of missions and to and from the regions. Participants attend an intensive two-day program that includes activities such as: country briefing, seminar, networking events and business meetings. The program offers each participant a unique opportunity to meet talented business leaders, learn about new opportunities, exchange ideas and forge personal bonds that can last a life time and benefit Florida and the nations in the Latin America and the Caribbean.

The program consists of an outbound and an inbound mission. Both of them are sponsored by American Airlines which is the official carrier of Americas Linkage Program.

Americas Linkage Outbound:

During the outbound mission, groups of executives from Florida visit Latin America and the Caribbean to meet with business leaders from private companies, business organizations and/or chambers of commerce. The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce organizes a seminar in the various cities to brief locals on how to do business in Florida covering legal, financial, marketing and immigration aspects just to mention a few. The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce has visited over 15 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean

Americas Linkage Inbound:

Latin America and Caribbean executives are invited to Florida for two days to attend events and business meetings with Florida companies. The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce puts together an in-depth seminar to explain the process of setting up a business in Florida from different angles. The Chamber has hosted delegates from over 15 countries.
